probably class bullshit. She's from the lowest strata of society, so even if she's physically strong, she's powerless in a different way, maybe? Anyhoo, she's like, farmer strong--lifting hay bales strong. She was friends with her whole village except her dad, I think she doesn't really know how to do a real fight, use weapons, throw a proper punch etc. Gotta learn that stuff i guess?
