I think the rating is so high because the first 6 chapters weren't that bad. It had a lot of advertisement and was a successful launch. It was also full colored and uncensored. That wasn't a regular thing 2.5 years ago when this debuted. I bought/read it weekly but dropped it when season 1 ended. Came by today to see if maybe I dropped it prematurely and it got better. I see it got worse. I can handle toxic on some level but I'm getting sick of the "mc accepts his rapist because he's kind enough to accept their shortcomings" trope. And this story has the mc stuck between 2 Alphas who are drugging, mutilating, and sexually assaulting him.... I won't be reading anything else from Morak and the other creators who are fetishists of this behavior.
