Yeah, unfortunately the room temp in these comic website comment sections is always one spark away from a overblown argument over some cartoon characters on a page. No one wants to use media literacy in their escapism and criticism of their smut comic is basically an attack on their personality. I've been on the end of it several times.
Kinda weird seeing people deny the racism and fetishization of this. This shit has been popular in Asian comics for yeeaaaars, especially the beast x white angel troupe in Korean manwhas. The only way you don't know this is if you started reading this shit like yesterday
Denying it or "not caring" because its smut doesn't make you cool or some unbothered queen I still check these out to see if the plot is good despite the fetish, but it doesn't make me sensitive if i recognize that and for others to be bothered by it.
