i loved this story so so much, but something i still cant understand is how heechan's mother just let him stay with his dad. i understand her situation and how she felt but i just cant comprehend how you'd leave your child with someone you divorced on bad terms. if you as an adult couldnt deal with it anymore then how could a child/teenager handle it? this and the hinting that his stepfather didnt really want him in the house... maybe i lack experience but not being able to at least pretend to care for a kid because they arent yours is just so weird to me lmao
