Bruh how rare are humans in this story? Didn’t they just met and they’re talking about all this forever stuff? No way imma kill a sheep for someone I just met

    Perhaps that’s exactly the reason Dennis fell so easily. He’s been out on this ranch/farm for god knows how long with little to no human interaction. He meets someone he’s attracted, who seems to share mutual interests, is intriguing and seduces him. It’s not so unreasonable when you look at all the factors why he’d be so devoted to the first person who shows “romantic” interest.

    I didn't thought about it like that! Plus it seems like he got some trauma with his family that made him a people pleaser, and now he has to chose whether to please the contractor or his love interest, which is why he looks devastated in the last panel (or maybe he just killed a sheep and felt bad and I'm overthinking)!! But AHH I'm excited for this series! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

    Oh definitely, there’s an inner conflict there between obligation vs personal desire. Dennis definitely strikes me as the type to obey the status quo, but evidently he’s not afraid to put the person he loves above all else — even if that would conflict with his morals. I’m also interested to see how all this plays out.
