So i went back to reread chapter 1 because this kind of confuses me even if i could already tell. So basically the person who Guwon killed in the prolouge was his dad, and it seemed like his father had left but came back for resources and it seemed like jinwoos dad attacked him for whatever reason before he had left.
So yeah. While I'm here, i've made this connection while back but never bothered actually mentioning it, but the title seems to have more connection to the story than what we initially thought. this little theory of mine is now a bit old so it might not even hold any significance at the end of the day seeing how the story is unfolding. "Sisyphus" is figure in greek mythology who was condemned to eternal punishment because of his cunningness and deceitfulness towards the gods. His punishment was to eternally push a boulder up a hill, only for it to roll back down every time he reached the summit. If you guys recall from chapter three, Guwon takes jinwoo to a hill and guwon mentions that you can see a rock. he then goes to to say "what if it suddnely came down?" and "thats why i come up here, to make sure it sits tight." seeing this connection, it made me think at the time if somehow he was sisyphus in some way. Then I noticed in the prolouge where he emerges from the ground from a big pile of rubble, completely fine (dont think this could prove anything tho). Well, that it from my little theory. pretty sure it might be me overthinking the title, but it was fun still. there is one thing that i have a question abt tho, did e ever have a eduation? why did he throw up after their first kiss that one time? what did he mean by "pyo guwon, u really are something else, too looking for your own goo, you really are one hell of a guy"????? he is one enigma.

lmao im supposed to be doing a small essay assignment and im here doing this.

No, i might be wrong, but Guwon killed the robber that was looting his Jinwoos house. I think Jinwoo is confusing that person for his dad or something, but it definitely seems to be the robber who went in and was looking to things to steal. If you go back to the prologue, it seems someone was actually attacked by the robber and was pleading for their life. After that, Guwon arrived and killed the robber and that’s when he took Jinwoo. If you match the clothes and body position, the person Guwon killed in the prologue and the body from this new chapter match. Who knows who killed or what happened to Jinwoos father but that body seems to definitely not belong to Jinwoos father. Which unfortunately seems that it’s going to cause a misunderstanding. Jiwoon is probably gonna ask Guwon if he killed that dead man on the floor and Guwoj will say yes and Jiwoon will still think it was his dad and think Guwon is his dad’s killer. Anyway, let’s see how this story keeps unfolding bc Jiwoon is still kinda fishy, missing memories and all. Oh and you’re absolutely correct, this is tied to greek mythology. Guwon most likely is the one labeled as Sysiphus but I can’t stop thinking about Jiwoon being the one with a deeper connection to the title for some reason.

Yes I’m pretty sure it is a robber, but I was just pointing out how it would’ve gone if the corpse is jinwoos father. We’ll have to wait till next chapter to see how it plays out. Kinda nervous
