Eh? I heard the opposite. I thought old xian preferred zhanyi than motian. She didn’t like the latter but because the fans loved them, surprisingly so much, it gave the impression that she had to shift her focus more on them.
Personally, I don’t know how she’ll proceed with the zhanyi ship. I would think it needs some sort of conflict or struggle or something. Jian yi can be all over the place but xixi keeps him grounded. It’s like there’s no problem between them because it’s balanced, and xixi is almost always with jian yi, antics and all, and always caters to Jian yi. Unless there’s some major thing going with jian yi like a rescue mission or something, their daily lives are just happy and fulfilling to them; maybe boring to some but not to them lol … that’s how it appears to me at least ╮(￣▽￣)╭
i really wonder what's old xian's motive for not progressing zhanyi ship at all while her favourite ship is getting crazy plot developments. is she scared zhanyi will take attention off of her main ship lmao?? getting clout in zhanyi's name in early period only to abandon them at the end. like nobody cares if you wanna make the other couple the center of attention. but what's with giving zhanyi the same repitive and boring chapters
