About the title.
I was answering in the comments and decided to bring up the idea of the title for general discussion.
If you look closely at the events, you can see that in the story where they are still schoolchildren, only a couple of weeks have passed.
Or less.

I believe that the general outline of the plot was to tell how the blond guy disappeared from the life of his friend, whom he loved so much, for exactly 19 fateful days (that is, how it happened that he disappeared for several years).

The redhead got into the plot completely by accident, but He Tian, if not MC's brother, then some kind of cousin, and he was originally supposed to play this role - apparently disappearing together with MC or something like that, as it turned out in the end.

BUT SOMETHING WENT WRONG.

And the author powerfully deviated from the main plot line about the disappearance of cousins from normal life.

Which, in principle, is not surprising - so many years have passed, the author, most likely, is not particularly interested in the original idea anymore, like it is much more interesting for them to talk about adult boys than about, I remind you, fourteen-year-old schoolchildren.

(I still love 14-year-old He Tian more than anyone else, but I have been reading this story since 2016, God help me)

I thought it's called 19 days cuz .... they were in highschool (which is generally age of 19) and they got separated? After highschool as they went to follow their different paths ( eg- he tian went abroad, mo bcm mechanic, the other couple probably went to diff uni ) and story is more of flashbacks of their highschool days .. but your explanation has broaden my world view

as far as I remember (I once decided to reread it) somewhere it is mentioned that they are middle school students, not high school students, and that they are 14 years old or something like that, plus if you read the first 300 chapters in one go, you can catch the thread of the plot in that there is some kind of hunt for Blondie and his mother because of his father, and all this is somehow connected with the mafia, and they are trying to save him by pulling him out of school and moving him to a safe place??? ooorrr something like that.
Also, He Tian's older brother is trying to pull him into the family business from school or something like that. (why? who knows...)

    Interesting
A couple of days ago I was just thinking about this (I know, weird but my mind likes to do that to relax) and it was since I notice chapters do not start with the "one day" anymore...which was what gave sense to the name of the band...BAND that was completely forgotten too
Anyway I think is the first time I'm not gonna complain about author forgetting their main story is about and I'm just enjoying
