i've been rereading the 1st vol multiple times and definitely loved yoshino. but after reading it dozens of times, their relationship really is shallow and needs more work and dept, and i expected this sequel to be just that... in the end, i was heavily disappointed. i wanted more of them to grow and be more in love with each other. all i got here is my baby being the side character and his boyfriend not having a single braincell to see what he did wrong, and he even said those words that truly broke my heart. all yoshino wants to is be loved and have a secure relationship but rou couldn't even assure him. their friends saw that his actions were shit and called him out on it but he was shocked, like bro are you serious? call this overacting but as someone who waited to see more of them, this truly isn't it. my disappointment reached it peak when i read that line and the following scenes and explanations can't make up for it.
