Right. Let the romance be a third party heck let that character become a father figure/other mother figure and romance his mentor. I would LOVE that. He's just vibing with found family and she's learning to trust her kind again.
I see the romance tag so ill say i sincerely hope this wont be a romance between those two. It would be much more wholesome if it stayed innocent like a mother figure. I hope it wont turn too fan servicing either since it got potential
