The fuck does that even mean. Oh so since there’s a hot guy who’s into pain and boxing and another hot guy with a suit, then it means it will automatically have rape in the story ? And what’s with the « cutesy gaming BL » bullshit ? There’s tons of BLs with very mature and hot storylines that doesn’t include rape. This one could also be one of those. Don’t be fucking contemptuous and paternalistic.

Girl, after looking at the series of all the yaoi that you’ve been reading on your page, I can conclude that we got similar tastes and I must say that I’m quite surprised that you’re not reading Nerd project (you should definitely give it a go).
And to answer your question, it doesn’t look too cliché for now and it’s too soon to know if there will be rape but the storyline isn’t leaning toward it (for now). But yeah, it’s only 5 chapters, even for the raws…

Look, the people who are more worried about whether there is rape in a story than whether the story is itself worth reading are exactly the kind of people who will write essays on how BL is full of SA these days, weeks later. Looking at OP's wording, they are probably likely to do this. Check out the comment section of any manhwa that has even a whiff of SA. Better to weed them out now.
Not to mention - this manhwa has masochism in it, and that's already a controversial topic, and I'm bracing myself for the people who will start bitching about the 'violence' between the leads when it begins.
I'm not being paternalistic about fluffy BL btw. I read almost everything in BL - I feel like there's a mood and audience for everything, and some days im in the mood for something toxic and another day i'll be reading the most sweetest stuff.
Some people who are worried about 'problematic stuff' are better off reading the fluff, though, if the topic is that worrisome for them. Why force yourself to read stuff you're not really into?

What kind of response is that? They simply wanted to ask if the story contains any scenes of rape, as it isn't to their taste, in a respectful manner. It's ironic that you say, "will write essays," when they are literally asking if it mentions any SA, as they don't want to be involved with that and simply want to drop it and move on. You’re offended by NOTHING. News flash! People are allowed to drop a story if it includes a harsh depiction of repetitive rape especially when it is shown to be fetishized as some do (which should be criticized!). Nobody wants to hear your rant about an assumption. That response clearly reflects the views of someone who excuses or downplays rape, as simply just mentioning not being into a genre gets your gears turning. Weirdo.

I'm very happy to see that you defended them. These types of consumers are exactly the kind of people who corrupt and make the BL community toxic; it's disgusting. Theyre a consecutive rape apologist. Consensual masochism and straight SA are entirely two different things. Media when toxic aspects turn to being romanticized or fetishized should be criticized respectfully or weirdos like them will consume it as it is and defend it. People like these think rape and BL are one of the same. It's rejuvenating and irregular for some odd reason with a perspective like yours. U ATE!

Rape in BLs is so very often used by so many lazy writers that have no idea how to actually portray it with the actual depth of it cause they simply use it as either a kink or a shock value or a “trope” for their characters to get together cause they literally have no chemistry and so they actually have no idea how to make them have sex without forcing it at first. So yeah, they’re actually asking if the story is worth reading and it’s not only because “rape is bad” but because rape is often the reflect of a badly written BL.
Also, the “rape is bad” would be a good enough reason to comment about it. Cause the comment section is literally made for people to express themselves and how they feel about the story, whether it’s positive or negative. And so, if they wanna make tons of paragraphs about how rape is bad, then they should do it. And if you don’t like it, then don’t read it. That’s basically your own advice. Just scroll those “essays”.
Also, there’s tons of BLs with masochists and BDSM plots with no rape in them.
Not to mention, masochism and rape are 2 VERY different things that have NOTHING in common. Except for probably the violence but they’re not asking about violence, they’re asking about rape. Consented violence is not rape. One can enjoy violence and not rape. A story can depict violence and not rape. Violence and rape are not interchangeable.
You’re being paternalistic for telling people what to do or not do. People have the right to read whatever they feel like reading, even just out of curiosity, whether it’s to their tastes or not. That’s literally free will.
And unless someone is asking your opinion about it, then don’t give it, unless you create a forum to talk about it with other people who also want to talk about it, then yes you go queen/king ! But here’s not the right place.
You’re saying that they shouldn’t force themselves to read something they’re not into but why the fuck do you think they’re asking in the first place ?
They didn’t even started to read it, they’re literally asking, to know whether it’s to their liking or not and so to know whether they should start reading it or not.
You just had to answer the damn question but you made so many assumptions instead.
And until proven otherwise, there’s no rape in this story, so there’s literally no reasons for them to not start reading it.
chat is this another grape repetitive story or it has a good storyline and characters?? lately it has been so hard for me to find good bls I'm tired
