Rereading the manhwa and honestly the person who is a strong advocate for Inseop against Wooyeon is Manager Cha manager cha deserved so much showtime. It's really a missed opportunity for vol 2 to not be adapted to manhwa because that's when the story actually gets more intense involving a lot of characters. But people will probably hate Inseop more huhu

Cause a lot of people who read in mangago has one dimensional perspective. They're already frustrated with Inseop here. So I can imagine how this people will shit on Inseop with how he feels about Wooyeon in addition to his timid personality. It's not that he's a doormat. Inseop is really just a very naive, innocent and overthinking character, very much opposite to Wooyeon's.

I totally get that. I find him frustrating af, he’s just a big pushover letting anybody treat him the way they do like the time when that random civilian purposely crashed into them to scam them & get insurance money off them he was just letting him do just about anything while he stuttered & cowered. I was raging (⊙…⊙ ) but so that mean in vol 2 he becomes an even bigger pushover?

Well I'm kind glad now that the artist is not doing the whole thing? There's innocent who experience lots of life changing things and grow from it, and then there's innocent who turn a blind eye or become a doormat. I can see they're pairing very opposite people but it seems like only Wooyeon had a character growth in this volume. A bit sad on the Wooyeon thing though. I think he's one of the best looking tops I've seen plus his dirty talking, but man this story has been such a test in patience

Actually the first time I read it, I also thought he was a pushover and crazy to like Wooyeon. Only after rereading it I understand Inseop's character even more. He over thinks A LOT OF THINGS which then contributed to huge miscommunication between them. Wooyeon get pissed off unknowingly (cause he's losing it not knowing what the hell is going on in Inseop's head), started his passive aggressive behaviours, made Inseop struggled so much without realizing it. Inseop thinks too much about Wooyeon that he forgets in a relationship both parties would become greedy and become important for each other albeit Wooyeon's are more unhinged side.

I think he actually grow a bit in the 2nd volume. He learns to be a bit selfish for himself with the relationship. Originally he wants to be Wooyeon's manager temporarily because he wants to be with Wooyeon all the time. He probably didn't realize at that point the extent of Wooyeon's existence in his life until everything spiralled down so badly. 2nd volume of the novel really laid out both of their insecurities and complexities in the relationship. That's why I said people will most likely take Inseop as pushover or doormat. I feel like that's not the case for him. I understand where he's coming from but also frustrated because unlike Inseop in the novel, I get to see both of their perspectives at the same time.
