i also forgot but i think he personally brought MC to his mom.
it’s because he used to talk to the mom when she was pregnant at the time, in order to learn more about kids (to take care of the mc) then she ended up losing her baby, and he suggested she volunteer at the orphanage he took the MC to(▰˘◡˘▰)
