Tbh i think the reason why they cut the chapters up into parts is not so it takes longer for the story to end but so that they can get more money cause they charge for each "chapter". Also believe they make cliffhangers so people will keep buying the next chapter. Looked the story up and it looks like its still ongoing
Also when I say they "get more money". I mean the platform the manga is on.... this manga is on Coolmic and they are notorious for cutting manga chapters into tiny sections in order to charge more for each chapter. I once read a mamga on coolmic but then found the 'actual' manga chapters on a different site and it was cheaper to pay for the full chapter than the broken up parts
Yeah real, even i bought the raw one like the hard copy in japanese it still cheaper compare to the translation one. Maybe they doing it for the translator to get paid.

It takes more than like basic 6-7 chapter for the manga to end, i feel like they separate like 1 chapter into 10 chapter by cutting the pages instead of putting it a lot in one chapter..that's why the manga keep getting longer to end..i feel like this manga should end like last year or on 2022 already. But Instead they keep cutting it and make it a cliffhanger. Or maybe the manga still ongoing i could be wrong..
