If you put it this way… did the sister actually know her brother died? Was this ever addressed in the story?? Didn’t she assume that it was all just a dream thats why she’s unhinged (from going for the main character to moving on and switching targets of affection)?

no yeah i agree its just harder to tell when they completely like “ignored” him and his sisters meeting
