As a very scarred person (ie some facial ones, arms and torso) it's possible but varies person to person as in it depends on the scarred person. If people are scared of them and it's a basic facial scar like his then even without the scar he likely already came off intimidating. You would need a serious scarring for people to be scared based off scar alone. Kids are a different story however from my experience unless they're explicitly taught it the vast majority are mostly curious over scared. That applies to a lot of adults too. You'll sooner get pity stares or maybe a shocked look over someone scared. And people are 100% unafraid to ask how you got them too. And after good handful want to touch them as well. You also get a few fetish ppl.

Crazies thing that's ever happen to me personally was a bunch of people circling me to pray, super uncomfortable tbh. I've also had someone yell at me about them or you will have people tell you to "censor" yourself bc you might trigger someone.

No need for apologies I've lived very openly with my scars for 10+ years now and have received so many different reactions that I feel pretty neutral towards most of them. And im always happy to answer questions that are genuine and simply derived out of curiosity. The prayer circle was definitely out of pocket, it's more of an eyebrow raise kinda thing but considering where I live unsurprising lol.
