Well I actually hated and hate how she got more close to the other little girl than her own , i mean she should have gotten closer to both of them it feels like she is so distant with her real daughter

It’s not her fault, her real daughter still clings to the mother she knew was hers despite the abuse. Rosnie saw through the abuse and distanced herself emotionally but Merrily still held on just a little bit. Hopefully they get close in the next chapters.

How can you say that? If she became selfish and poured her emotions on the girl, it'd only hurt her. Taking things slow was the best course of action. The only reason the other girl got close first was because she could she her parents weren't good people unlike the MC's daughter. I believe she did the right thing. Now is just a matter of time, she's a child, she'll warm up to her

What is it with people thinking trauma in a child just vanishes immediately? Like Robellia wanted to make sure her daughter could make her own choice and felt safe.

"the other girl" they're both her girls. thee only difference is the way they responded to abuse. robelia could only stay as close as she could without deepening merrily's trauma.
