Bc it not a yaoi. It was tagged that way because the translator mistakenly thought it was a BL, and since the main character seemed to admire the male lead’s actions, people just assumed it was a romance. But this manga is more similar to The Summer Hikaru Died. It has some BL elements, but that’s not the focus. The real emphasis is on the horror and psychological aspects, especially the darker side of human nature. If you checked the Japanese manga it never had a BL tag to begin with.
