Okay so ever since mc was a kid, he lived in the 'underground'. Everyone there had superpowers, and they had power scaling: (D, C, B, A) with A being the highest. Mc was the lowest and he had the power to read minds but no one knew about it. But to read minds he has to touch them.
Every month they have an elimination test, basically they get trapped in aplace and they have to come up with ways to escape. Everytime there would be no casualties because mc would help them secrelty (like hint or subtly tell clues). Before one of the rounds ML noticed MC, he actually stole of the guards card to use it to escape.
fast forward bc i cant remember: mc tried to escape from that place, he used the stolen card to open and access the doors but he failed bc ml caught him. ml placed him in his room,
