Yeah, maybe that's what ticks me off, it's indecent.
It's terrible how korean manwas get off on looking pretty (by their standards) and "luxury" brands, one on two times you can be sure they'll be pushing those concepts and it's kinda weird but their must be a sociological explanation for that.
(and no shade to the author, this isn't a thing i've seen only in their work.)

Oh definitely, koreans are not the only ones flaunting it like it's a goal (and yeah i fear they might be like that irl... but again there must be a why as to why their society is like that)
I get that we're all not rich, or just financially comfortable, but yeah that sugar mommy/daddy fantasy is just not our kink and i suppose that's why it ticks us off??
Like, if i had a rich partner, i'd want to invest in a house, not in branded shirts bwahahahah it's so laughable for real ToT, but again, i can agree to disagree with people who like that, but i'd be so mad cause i'd see it as wasted money.
Let's support independent clothes makers instead, it'll cost a lot, will be good quality and will be so much more meaningful.
I never understood this "high priced brands are cool" thing, as long as the shirt is good quality it doesn't need to be that expensive, i see we have different love languages
