I had a thought and soon became a realization about Roem/Loem/Rome [sorry can’t remember the name???] being particular to scents. He isn’t sensitive to smells, he just understand that his surroundings stink. They’re in a western historical era so maybe he is the way he is because the people and the place smells like shit. Of course, this also effect the way he sees people, who stink and is able to stomach exchange of bodily expressions.
