I liked this story a lot in the beginning, I REALLY did. It was hilarious and I loved the characters and dynamics, and I also really anticipated the female lead's escape and the timeskip to when they would both become of age and the romance would properly bloom. BUT everything after the timeskip has been a total disappointment (at least imo). I couldn't recognize the main characters anymore, they turned 180° and totally switched personality compared to the beginning, and they kind of became very bland. Also, the reveal that she was a woman was very underwhelming as well, and the male lead decided to be frustrating and avoid her to protect her out of nowhere without communicating (which was never properly addressed). Furthermore, basically all the characters apart from them were initially presented to be WAY more important that they actually were in the end, it's like they all disappeared from the plot (the villainess duchess was dealt with so quickly and only heard of a bit at the end, then there were the 2 second male leads, the servant friend, the cool knight commander, the blond knight who was a spy, the princess, the grand duke in a wheelchair that appeared once... even the duke was less involved than I expected. I had high expectations for all of them and the relationship they would develop with the female lead but they were totally forgotten). But MOST OF ALL, what was that?? What happened?!?! It's like nothing happened at all for 50+ chapters and then all of a sudden EVERYTHING happened in less than 20 chapters, like it was a flashback or something. Even the last chapter, with the conclusion of the main plot, was too rushed: their wedding happened in a few panels at the very end without any particular interaction or reaction from the other characters about fl being a woman (it was hinted that most of them knew but still?!) and them getting married. It was also never addressed how the male lead is clearly of a much higher status than her but nobody considered it a problem, which is good but also very strange. It was all so quick and sudden that I didn't have the time to digest anything or even FEEL anything. I was so excited to read it all but at some point I just stopped caring. I hate when it happens, and unfortunately it happens a lot, probably because the authors want to quickly finish the manhwa and end up cutting out a lot of details from the novel towards the end.

I still have a good impression overall, because the first part was undoubtedly really good, but the second part...
