I read the same spoiler and thought I still would enjoy the beginning. I don’t regret reading at all. Knowing fthe second part is short i had low expectations, but i also don’t dislike how you skip tons of misunderstandings and tiresome tropes.
The MC is rather excellent, a good hearted determined woman who shines through ashe does by herself. She’s a rare equal to the ML too.

I'm glad I spared you some frustration! That's what I write this kind of comments for, because I myself like to know what I should expect before I start reading.
Still, as @Agathe said, you can still read it with lower expectations if you're curious, and drop it if you don't care about reading the rest. You may still like it more than I did :D

It's not that I skip misunderstandings or part of the story, the things is that I have a very big temperament and I get annoyed really fast, I'm sorry if it's looked like I'm just a hater, but I try to avoid manwha that makes me very very annoyed because it's a waste of time and it's a waste of potential of the manwha to read a few chapters then leave it hanging there and catching dust

Dear i was not meaning « you » as a person, i just didn’t miss the bunch of misunderstanding you find in most of these stories :)
I do understand some overused tropes are rather irking me too :)
I would also rather only read interesting pieces, too , but they are hard to find :/
Also got into reading semi crappy things in order to fall sleep ^^. It can’t be too crappy, cause it would make me mad, but it can’t be too good either, if not i read all night and become a zombie by day ;) this one is just fine as a sleeping pill :p

I liked this story a lot in the beginning, I REALLY did. It was hilarious and I loved the characters and dynamics, and I also really anticipated the female lead's escape and the timeskip to when they would both become of age and the romance would properly bloom. BUT everything after the timeskip has been a total disappointment (at least imo). I couldn't recognize the main characters anymore, they turned 180° and totally switched personality compared to the beginning, and they kind of became very bland. Also, the reveal that she was a woman was very underwhelming as well, and the male lead decided to be frustrating and avoid her to protect her out of nowhere without communicating (which was never properly addressed). Furthermore, basically all the characters apart from them were initially presented to be WAY more important that they actually were in the end, it's like they all disappeared from the plot (the villainess duchess was dealt with so quickly and only heard of a bit at the end, then there were the 2 second male leads, the servant friend, the cool knight commander, the blond knight who was a spy, the princess, the grand duke in a wheelchair that appeared once... even the duke was less involved than I expected. I had high expectations for all of them and the relationship they would develop with the female lead but they were totally forgotten). But MOST OF ALL, what was that?? What happened?!?! It's like nothing happened at all for 50+ chapters and then all of a sudden EVERYTHING happened in less than 20 chapters, like it was a flashback or something. Even the last chapter, with the conclusion of the main plot, was too rushed: their wedding happened in a few panels at the very end without any particular interaction or reaction from the other characters about fl being a woman (it was hinted that most of them knew but still?!) and them getting married. It was also never addressed how the male lead is clearly of a much higher status than her but nobody considered it a problem, which is good but also very strange. It was all so quick and sudden that I didn't have the time to digest anything or even FEEL anything. I was so excited to read it all but at some point I just stopped caring. I hate when it happens, and unfortunately it happens a lot, probably because the authors want to quickly finish the manhwa and end up cutting out a lot of details from the novel towards the end.
I still have a good impression overall, because the first part was undoubtedly really good, but the second part...
