in the novel it’s subtly hinted that mc still gives that dude info about ml but it’s all fake and ml knows about it and they use the money they get from him together.
gang dynamic is briefly mentioned as well, it’s unclear if ml is the last auditor or not (that part is never specified)

Yeah, the novel shows what ML decides to do about his sister and the ex/sisters boy. They show how the pack dynamic changes after that.
We should also get another character from the past.
I'm writing vaguely not to spoil things, but I'm surprised they've marked the main story as finished and not just another season, there's still quite a bit source material in the novel
