it's somehow worse, MC life and future were destroyed by ML father and his company, he was forced into criminal life while ML profited, gained success and then used MC while spying and controlling him constantly from the beginning of the story. no redemption arc just undeserving forgiveness
if ml was a stalker at least there was some sort of feelings in it but here hes like "oh this random hacker i sexually assaulted looks kinda hot lets just keep f*cking him"
