I think the town is led by a demon/devil, Guwon. The hounds maybe are minions? Everything that's happening is the apocalypse. Doesn't seem like enough zombies or bodies/death mess around. I think demons/devils don't do well with positive emotions like love/like & kissing hence the vomiting
