have I forgot I've written this? I agree with literally everything you've said not only do I love the type of characters that are portrayed but most importantly how the author did it!!! particularly Luce, he is so lovable, reason why he's very dear to me too.

i'm gonna say it guys...this story honestly wouldn't be half as interesting if the ml were your jolly "perfect" green flag prince. i'm not defending his actions, bc i myself have been screaming "son of a bitch" at his face for the past 10 chps ever since that glass incident, my justification is that having a character to vehemently hate esp one as complex, shrewd and cunning as ayle gives this story more depth and gives the readers a grab for their attention.
and no, ayle is not my fave chara, far from it. it is in fact my dearest bbg luce, he's literally so hot. really my type physically and personality wise. on a side note, the overall ambience of this story, is honestly, all that i crave from a historical bl, very 'a stepmother's marchen'-esque in terms of vibe, love that. also, i may be biased saying this bc rn i'm on my period and i'm craving lots of angst, and these two emotionally constipated fools are delivering.
