Literally the whole reason why im dropping this for a while, read ahead in the novel since i couldn't contain myself and found myself in utter disappointment.... i do understand the MC but i cannot deal with it. All could've been avoided if they yk communicated beforehand!!!
so real, imagine if MC just asked “You can choose to answer me or not but can I ask what’s your relationship with Ano?” or literally “Were you guided by somebody earlier?”
ARGGHHH the most frustrating part is that, ML DID TRY TO COMMUNICATE WITH MC!!!! (but alas our MC still lost to his trauma)
RIGHT!!! The ML TRIED to communicate before anything, tried to understand why the hell the MC was leaving him without a word but MC was too deep in self-pity (which i understand, tbh, it gets like that somedays lol) BUT UGHH!!! YOU COULD'VE AT LEAST TRIED TO TALK WITH HIM!!
but the ML also never properly communicated anything, who Ano was and assumed MC knew coz he also assumed MC to be an active Guide during the time Ano was alive and who and what the role of new guide is. ML specifically said MC would never leave and just needed sweet talking(╯°Д °)╯╧╧They both don’t communicate well.
Honestly I don’t blame the MC, coz he knew ML was just using him coz they seem to mesh well in guiding and the sweet things he said were just said to keep him by his side for the S ranked Gate
How was he supposed to know ML started to love him for real and I can see why he never asked it’s because he knows the relationship isn’t real and he prolly doesn’t feel like he has the right to be asking those kinds of questions. then there the new guide who in his eyes can guide ML well, so now he is essentially useless
Imagine dealing with all then AND have that long haired Guide guy just whispering all his deepest fears about ML and essentially affirming his fears. never understood the novel readers liking him #－.－) when his ult goal was too separate the two
ML also never bothered to learn about the MC and his trauma and never talked about the future ╮(￣▽￣)╭
y’all clearly didn’t fucking read the novel because that was NOT a chasing arc— THAT WAS A WHOLE FUCKING FRUSTRATING MISUNDERSTANDING ARC!
Basically, MC decides/assumes stuff on his own before asking ML. MC runs away from ML, ML finds MC, they argue horribly and get separated from each other because of a random dungeon that spawned right next to them. ML goes alone and comes back from dungeon, with MC nowhere to be found. Then ML searches the world for MC— almost everyone is convinced/tells ML that MC is dead, but in reality MC was just teleported to another place, Ecuador via a portal
