also the people complaining, this is the authors first "long" work. Ofc they are gonna bring in their other characters that are in the same universe. Plus without them, the author would prob make up some random problem to keep the story going between the main couple, so i prefer the second couple option instead-

omgf lucy and ian IM CRYING I LOVE THEM SM. I like both couples but lilly seems like a child and really immature at times, i know he is young but its nice when both people in the relationship are mature like lucy and ian (at the same time lucy is cute without looking dumb lol)
