HAD AN EPIPHANY

WAIT i think i get it now... why the author chose to do it this way. If Mincheol came back to catch them doing things he would make Na Hae soo feel bad and make her feel shameful. But now that he pities her he's gonna try to save her. Taeha makes it look Mincheol beat the crap outta him so she pities him and her resentment towards Mincheol grows. Because Mincheol can't give her up because of his EGO and his newfound protectiveness over Na Haesoo he will go back again to see them both and both Na Haesoo and Mincheol will have a big fight (mostly verbal fighting). THEN after they fight Mincheol filled with rage will go back once more because he is probably firmly convinced that Taeha is a thug manipulating her for money/ debt collector harassing her BUT WHEN HE RETURNS ONCE MORE he will find them in an intimate relationship and THATS how they will finally get revenge. or... its a more complicated twist since Taeha is hinted at becoming CEO and he's apparently known Na Haesoo for a lot longer there's a chance that he might do something to Mincheol since he's a "parachute hire" meaning someone perhaps Taeha helped him get his current job.

Yea like the convo between him and his body guard this chapter made it make sense a little better . Looks like Taeha doesn’t want to just swoop her off her feet the easy way with his status and money he wanted to literally burn mincheol out of her memory and taint their relationship so badly that haesoo would never trade what she has with taeha to go back to that toxic relationship with her ex husband . It’s getting juicer and it’s a slow burn story anyhow . It’s never not going to be a slow burn . I wonder why the readers who feel frustrated with the pacing don’t just put it down for a month and come back to check it out
