That is true. I appreciate those stories. I just am not a fan of the author giving us the somewhat fluffy story, then going this dark on their last side. Should have given them a spin off, but I bet no one would want it
Well, the last story made the main and first side stories not so fucked up, huh?
By the way, I wanted to express my disgust at the author for trying to sell the "family" nature of their relationship, but then I remembered what kind of families there are sometimes... well, whatever.
The author has certain tendencies, but I take my hat off - at least the psychology is well-developed here. Very codependent relationships, where one needs a psychiatrist and some tough pills, and the other needs a psychotherapist for at least five years.
