Yes, same here, never been a fans, any memories related troupe I despise.... This one is quite refreshing to do tho, so it less frustrating (still do)
I don't think that there has been a single time that I liked the memory loss plot device...everything else, even some toxic tropes, I might like under certain circumstances but never amnesia. The closes I got to not abhoring it was when a few stories used it on ukes who ran away from abusive or just asshole semes and it helped me enjoy seme's suffering to some degree but still, I would rather it is never used again
