ngl for some chapters i HATED andante i wanted hyeseop to just be free of him, but reading what you wrote, it definitely seems too cruel for him to leave him at that point, idk why hyeoseop would do that if he genuinely had feelings for andante and the situation is cleared up
Yeah, in the beginning/middle of the arc it is very understandable. The way Andante tries to make MC stay looks really obsessive and possessive, and it triggers his hidden trauma. Me too, i wanted MC to distance himself, take time to reflect on his feelings, find himself and his worth and be free too.
However it's just cruel to me how after learning andante is going to every single dungeon to look for MC (knowing fully well that the bag he left would make it seen like he entered a dungeon and died), learning Andante can't be guided by anyone else but him, returning to guide Andante on emergency only because he's at the brink of going berserk, and after all that hearing Andante plead for him to stay, just to leave him to be with bitch haechang right on his face.
When you think about everything Andante did wrong, it just not come even close to how much he suffered, it's just sad ╥﹏╥ .
Sorry but i needed to vent my frustrations. Man i finished reading the novel (at least the main story). I can't help but feel Andante didn't deserve this, he goes full freak delusional mode and almost dies going berserk because MC makes him believe MC chose to enter a dungeon and die than being with him, and in his head he did nothing to deserve this extreme reaction from MC, AND I AGREE.
Of course MC has a lot of trauma, was abused in a lot of ways, is oblivious to his own feelings, has trust issues, hates obsession, yada yada... and until he's reunited again with Andante which was almost berserk on sedatives I was "okay" with the "chasing arc".
But even after seeing andante almost dead (because of him), crying and begging for MC to stay he decides to go and make a 1 yeah contract to be bitch haechang's guide (yeah that's his name now), who doesn't waste any opportunity to humiliate and play with Andante's feelings... bruh (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ .
The "chasing arc" was so long and painful it was more like "torture and depression arc", and all because of damn miscommunication. But after 70 chapters of suffering and me wanting to kill bitch haechang everything was beautiful so i guess it was worth it.Thank god the manwha author is speeding things up, less suffering time for my boy Andante.
