I dont understand why people hate this so much??? It's not that bad imho. The plot is not the best, but def not the worst either. I rather think it's quite good AND tje author definitely research about mental illness thoroughly. The portrayal is good.
About seme and his mother. I think the only redeemable character is seme here. Before uke's memory loss, the problem could be resolved IF ONLY he's being honest to uke. Just admit that you ficking love uke amd ready to do everything just tk be with him But that dimbfuck choose the hard way by being mean. UKE MOTHER IS THE WORST THOUGH UGH. Not only she abandoned his child, she also just want to discarded uke bc she know uke is a thorn in her life. Fuckingshit. All that bullshits about keeping uke to safety. I would believe her had she made the effort of taking care of uke. She didnt even visit uke when she put him in the mental hospital all those years ffs. The only good thing about her is when she questioned the relationship of her son with with younger stepbrother But tjank goodness uke's mother and ml are not related by blood lmao.
While seme really did change after uke's memory lost. He put in the effort and communicating for uke's sake. He also genuinely loved their kid--it's a given.
And people think it's sad when uke and ml didnt immediately brought back their kid and told them uke is his mother. It's acrually a wice decision you know Uke's not in stable state, but they immediately took the kid after uke put more effort to be better. I think if the author is given more time to prolong the story, i bet ml and uke eill eventually tell the kid sooha is aftually his mother.
Or. The kid will eventually put things together on his own.
