Well i mean it's pretty common if there's no precedent of it ever happening in their history + when it comes to life or shi like that, they get pretty sensitive since they wouldn't wanna cross the gods in their world or shi. Idk man that's what i try to rationalize
Right? And the belief of reincarnation was more intense back then!! Because of lots of religions that promoted it and was prevalent back then. One of which still remains today, Hinduism.
Yk what lol I can understand not believing in reincarnation in a world with no fantasy like our world but c'mon they had huge magical flying lizards, magical forests where people dissapear and kings with magical powers but they draw the line at reincarnation ??? lmao
