You understand this story so, so, well. This is exactly the case. The upcoming chapters, already all spoiled on Twitter, will showcase this so well. This arc will show exactly why Carcel is the ML and why HE is the one that makes all the difference for Ines. Ep99 came out Thursday and everyone is talking about his reactions to Ines’s suffering.
Ooh. Yeah I’m excited for these next couple of chapters.
I like carcel’s duality. He comes off immature, but he’s pretty observant and smart. Like its impressive that he’s able to remain objective and not jump to conclusions and crash out lol considering, from his perspective, he probably feels like he was ines’ last choice—used as a tool for a greater goal. I’m sure most people would not be able to remain patient and wait for the whole context. They might just feel disrespected and go off the rails.
And the fact that his number one worry is still Ines’ pain and not his own is amazing too considering he doesn’t fully know what she’s gone through yet. I’m sure once he actually finds out, he’ll be devastated for her since he’s already like this.
