The first timeline is actually very tragic and hard to read. Most people try to skip it because Ines just kept losing everything she loved. She was also suffering from terminal illness and the death of her children so it’s very angst-like and tragic read. Both her and Carcel died at the same moment. He died on the battlefield and Ines had prayed she would die the same moment as him if he dies first. So the Apostle granted her wish and she died the same time Carcel was killed on the battlefield. Ines also bore children but this BITCH was poisoning her and her children. Her first child died when he was almost 10 months so he is still her longest living child up to this point in the story.
2nd TL: married to cp
3rd TL: married to painter
4th TL: married to Carcel
CP has memories of all timelines. Ines just got new memories of the first true TL in ep95 & 96.
First TL is forgotten because neither Ines nor Carcel made wishes for memories. Ines used her wishes for Carcel and Carcel used his wishes for Ines. CP used his wishes for himself by asking for memories to commit revenge on Luciano who legitimately killed him by moving the country to depose him.

Hmmm. Well, let’s just say everything develops Ines/Carcel’s relationship. If they understand each other more, then it can only bring them closer and closer to each other. There are some really moving scenes ahead.

so there’s 4 timelines: the first being carcel and ines being together but because of the complications with her health/pregnancy that timeline was short lived. the second timeline was when ines committed due to the cp’s atrocious acts, the third being emiliano and ines tragic love and the fourth being the current timeline, yes?
i saw in the comments that the cp is aware of all the timelines, but from what i understand ines only knows the 2nd and 3rd timeline, and emiliano knows the 3rd timeline, whereas carcel is a special case. is there a reason why the 1st timeline is forgotten??
