OHH WHAT THE HELL THAT ENDED BEAUTIFULLY GOOD GRIEF. we FINALLY got to see some sort of atonement from ML (i both hated what he did, but to the same extent i sympathize with him. he is a child who was born knowing NOTHING about love. his idea of love, let me remind you was a twisted version and a scrap of a person who was consumed by hatred and desperation too. well, the apple never fall far from the tree after all i suppose) i can’t urge yall enough how much i LOVED reading this.. even if the conflict and miscommunication was constantly hurting my head, it kept me so locked to the point that i was clutching my toes every episode.
the uncalled for grievances too.. i was hoping we could’ve seen a glimpse of Kolan’s (FL’s bro) family. like are they alive and good?? I’d like to know more about Vincente and Adora too, they are so adorable together.
On chapter 103 (sleep deprived af)
Holy shit, at first I assumed the plot line would be a generic 2nd life to redeem oneself. However, this is far from what expected. Every character I’ve examined so far is either morally grey or utterly confusing. It’s fascinating yet so painful to see the story unfold as it progresses.
And gosh can’t forget about the most complex character, imo is the ML (Harzen). I thought at first that he’d been overly protective of her, and his whole gig was the cold duke of the north, which was completely wrong; it truly shocked me when I found out his obsession and possessiveness over her to the point of KILLING her own brother whom she loved. What baffles me is that it’s not looking good for the ML too, he doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of redemption, reformation and mental stability. It’s so saddening.
At this point, I am betting on those who’ve shown clear gradual developments like FL (Ercella/Arcella) and her son Vincente
