I think it's the understanding him bit. I think that lil sejin is implied to be the one who was in a controversy with how this story is going so far. Maybe there's a reason why he was in it? I don't know, but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt before fully judging.
Also without him the story would be less entertaining wouldn't it? As much as I find him a bit annoying, I got to admit he's giving me reason to keep reading because I find this controversy to be interesting. Well that and my love for moondae and the question of the system.
