One of the most intense arc and I think worth reading many times but this is taking too long. It's ongoing since 2002, means that this manga is already what 24 or 23 years old and I bet kyoko is still 17 to 18 years old, this is like reading detective conan, who have been how many years being small but still stuck at elementary or middle school...even the mangaka drawing start to look like I dunno, I cannot differentiate ren and other characters anymore.

She forgot what they look like atp and just draws them to be as generic as possible xD. Idk how old this lady is but she might just end up in the grave before she finishes the thing. It's definitely older than that because it was picked up by the current publisher in '02 I believe. It was released in the 90s iirc

Skip Beat started in 2002 - you can look it up. Tokyo Crazy Paradise was in the 90's, and it's also a fantastic story. The mangaka has some serious health issues and does her best. I buy the books, and they're better than the magazine releases, and yes, her drawing style has changed over the years - as happens to all artists. If you don't like it/don't have the patience for it, drop it... And Ren was never going to rape her - I'm not sure what you were reading, but he was never going to cross any line. They're dating and he still won't even kiss her. The Heel siblings were hilarious.

Well it's not a thing of health issues if your characters just look the same. TCP is also not great. The author is literally obsessed with pairing minors with old ass men. There was no need for all that constant nudity of a minor. Correct me if I'm wrong here but didn't this one guy with that robot panther or whatever that looked like Ren and (was considered the guy I think) lust after her because he was thirsting for her mom and they looked the same? Talk about creepy. Even the ml, he was basically getting groomed by older women coveting his power and status.
I also never said he would rape her, just that he was rapey. Bear in mind that the dynamic between those two is incredibly unhealthy. She's super inexperienced and most importantly a freaking minor. Their age gap is practically nothing in number, but in terms of mental development the gap is insane, especially because of Ren's life experiences. He does also manipulate her in heaps of ways to keep his jealousy tide over. That bed scene is incredibly wrong. I was guilty of the typical fan girl behaviour kicking my feet twiddlydiddlyda when it happened because I didn't realise at the time how bad it was, but then I grew a couple braincells and realised how incredibly wrong what happened was. Ren was stranding a minor giving her the clear indication that he was going to put a hickey on her chest. What he was thinking Vs what kyoko was thinking makes it all the more wrong. Y'all don't care to protect minors at all man that's insane. I don't even read this anymore because I hate everything about it. I loved this series and the pairing when I was younger, but this is not it.
