The very end of the last chapter talked about having to go inside where they can be themselves. It’s a gay couple. We kinda have to heads on swivels these days when we go out depending on where we live. Teachers are getting fired, trans/gay/queer kids are being taken away from their parents and put into the system. We have to hide our Persona in public again. Does it make more sense now?
