Agreed. The murder is bad BUUUUUUT I think it’s also very clear he’s got something going on in his head. We already know he’s missing memories but he apparently doesn’t even seem to know right from wrong, given how he asked Teach if he was in the wrong and corrected his mistake. Like this is not a mentally competent adult and everyone in the town just kinda assumed he was being malicious on purpose when it seems like he genuinely believes what he’s doing is right

I think he’s definitely engaging in red flag behaviors but he can be molded into a better person, given that he’s shown he’s willing to be taught. But as of right now they essentially gave a baby tiger leadership and are surprised his morals are backwards, lol. Like bro has no concept of social norms, no education, and the townspeople just went with it

Exactly like just because he kills people doesn’t mean he’s a red flag there’s a lot of green flags who kill people and you’re right I think that the fact that his behavior is justified not only by people’s words or actions but the townspeople just let him get away with literal bloody murder. At this point everything in his mind is okay until the teach says otherwise because that like his master(can’t find a better word rn mb) sure he seems like a red flag but that doesn’t mean he is. Mentally incompetent is the perfect way to describe him.
