I think i agree with the people who say that the mc is an unreliable narrator. The prologue just doesn't match with the events from ch 24. Besides, the ML said that he didn't lie, he just didn't tell him the whole truth. Telling the mc that you didn't kill his dad would be a lie if you did do it. I am still of the belief that the MC killed his own dad.
