You should totally reread chapter 1. The dad was actually trying to kill him. Im not even sure that was the dad? Anyway Teach is an unreliable narrator

Uhhhh.... I kinda feel dumb for defending him,like we all know he has the reasoning skills of a 5 year old and thats why he must have had a reason still to kill the dad,why did he kill him unprovoked??
