The man wakes up in murder mode every other day, can't remember what happened in the DAYS before Guwon showed up, there's no explanation about the injury on his foot in the prologue (which I highly suggest some of you READ AGAIN, truly reading is fundamental)...this man does not even KNOW his own truth. Dude's just filling in the blanks, he's seeing what he expects to see and not questioning it.
Also, I think a few people saw "It's not like I wanted to kill him" and immediately assumed Guwon meant the dad, which in that case...seek help. Doctor was real stupid for doing that, at the very least you could have shot him in the back, but no, threaten him to his face, I'm sure that'll go well
