Chapter 0 actually has a lot of clues as to what's going on. I've got a big ol' theory brewing in my head, and re-reading the whole thing has helped me a lot in figuring it all out. Since the title of the manhwa is The Hounds of Sisyphus, that is the first clue. My suggestion is to Google Sisyphus, learn his backstory, then you can see a lot of parallels between what's happening in the story and the Mythology. I believe the author is bringing Sisyphus to life again as Guwon.
This is all in reference to the bigger picture, not specific questions like "Did Guwon actually kill Jinwoo's dad?", as I'm sure we'll learn all about that later on. But it's a good start to learning why Guwon acts the way ge does!
