Yea it’s sad, but I doubt the author is going to make a whole season only to have characters grieve. I’m sure they’ll find their happy ending somehow or else a whole new season doesn’t make sense. If the situation was final then it would make sense to end the series here and maybe have side stories, but they’re planning a season 4. I’m confident it won’t be a complete tragedy.
