Servaine put tropical fish like those clownfish with him in the tank then the next they dump him in the lake after that when the merman bought in the tank again the fish gone, they should've been dead but we see it alive in the end with the merman back on the lake maybe they reproduce or something
I mean it could be a saltwater lake. It's a webtoon after all, some are known for there not being accurate.
