It ends with unhappy ending. Yool never apologizes for erasing his memory with his mom or imprinting upon him and also leading him to be a guide. He coerces Ho-woo at the end with a plan to emotionally tie him forever. It works and Howoo is left wondering at the end if his love for Yool will return and if Yool’s love for Howoo was really a bait to capture and ensnare him. It’s so bleak lol
