Fellas, is it weird that I'm still on Mok-yeon's side here....?
(Yeah, the rape fantasy is fucked, but he didn't do it irl. And I'd say most people have intrusive thoughts/fantasies about hurting someone they dislike and stuff. I think that's basically what was happening there; except, it was moreso a fantasy about "lashing out" instead of actually "hurting" Nanjo.)
I've seen enough evidence to conclude that Mok-yeon doesn't ACTUALLY want to harm Nanjo. His sexual preferences in the past have been rough, and he 1000% coerced Nanjo into this physical relationship, yes. But he never really desired to physically HURT him.
I honestly feel really terrible for Mok-yeon. Sure, he's been a cheater in the past, and that's shitty. BUT NANJO NEVER KNEW THAT ABOUT HIM. Nanjo just saw a promiscuous dude with tattoos and a BDSM preference, and assumed he was absolute scum [abusing a twink] from the very beginning, without even knowing him.
Mok-yeon was helpless from the very start; he felt he had no choice but act according to the stereotypical villain role in order to get anywhere---have ANY relationship in ANY capacity with Nanjo. And I get it. Nanjo already decided what kind of person Mok-yeon was. If he'd tried to approach him sincerely, he would've ABSOLUTELY been turned down, and that would've been even more painful.
Mok-yeon may have dug this hole, but he had no choice but to dig it.
....and now this poor guy is having a full-on mental breakdown.
I really hope his character isn't pushed into Irredeemable-territory.
