Ido could have isn't in Sejin's life at all. He can help Sejin in many ways possible that didn't required for Ido must appear in his life. But no. Dude still want everything to be his. By doing so, he knew well the risk is Sejin remembered their past. STILL HE DID IT ANYWAY.

Apparently Ido in second life doesn't want to get Sejin with him but to get rid of all obstacles to healthy and happy Sejin, so he can be independent, relaxed etc. At night Ido is touching gun that Sejin shot himself to remind himself of his goal xd Its so absurd and Ido did such a shit job with everything, It would be really funny if it would not be for poor Sejin. Why imprint for second time if he knew how horrible it was? So after flashback Sejin will leave but he will feel Ido's emotions of sadness. Then after 3 months Ido will start to come everyday for like a month and after day that Sejin died in the past, Ido wants to end himself so Sejin will be free from him, bond. So f stupid. Then there're dating, engage and we get everything from Ido's POV

This is why it was ridiculous. Author really forced way so Ido can be with Sejin. The mindset that Ido can only help Sejin by being with him, engaged with him, live with him, are all actually an optional choice. Ido CAN help Sejin without appear in Sejin's life at all. Author truly forcing a tunnel vision so the story can have a way to make Ido be with Sejin. Because, what's the point of Ido having a pity party by blaming and ending himself after helping Sejin when he ALREADY make a mark and bring out memories that supposedly to be forgotten. Ido's redemption is just him having a regret, blaming his own self, try to ended himself again. There's no actual consequences. It's just him fighting with his guilt and regret.
